Services Available To Our Members

New Service or Temporary Residential Service

New service or temporary service can be requested by coming into our Customer Service Department in either Byhalia or Olive Branch. One of our representatives will get the necessary information from you. A one-time active membership fee of $50.00 must be paid at this time and, depending on the service requested, a security deposit could be required.

Requirements For Hook-up of Temporary Service to a House or Service to a Mobile Home

Your temporary meter pole and meter base must be installed and ready for hook-up before temporary service will be connected.

Security Lights  (Yard Lights)

Security lights are available to all members if the owner agrees to a one-year contract. A charge of $5.57 is added to your monthly bill ($1.00 extra, if we have to install a pole).  A High Pressure Sodium light is the standard security light installed. Charges may vary if a different type of security light is requested. You must come into the office and fill out a request form. A serviceman will meet with you at the property to find out where you want the security light located and draw up a sketch for placement. Weather permitting, installation is usually made within two weeks of the application. It is the responsibility of the owner to report any outages to Northcentral. We will maintain the security light at no cost, except in cases of vandalism.
